Sarah Titterington Ibbett, violin, resides in Burlington, Massachusetts. She recently moved from the UK where she played with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the London Handel Orchestra, the Hanover Band, the Purcell Orchestra, the London Orchestra da Camera and Florilegium. She has performed concerti with Belsize Baroque, the Early Music Experiment and the Flackton Players, all London-based period orchestras, and recently performed Vivaldi’s Spring and Summer concerti with the Kansas City Baroque Consortium. She currently plays with a variety of ensembles in the Boston area including Grand Harmonie, a period orchestra specializing in Classical and Romantic repertoire, and the Lexington Symphony. With Grand Harmonie she has performed some of the latest repertoire played on period instruments in the United States. Mrs. Ibbett grew up in Kansas City where she was a Suzuki student herself, studying with Beth Titterington, Stephanie Sandven and Eleanor Allen. She earned a Bachelor of Music at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a Performance Diploma at Boston University where she studied with Professor Bayla Keyes.
