Beth Alvarez
Beth is a cellist who received her B.S. in Music Education and German from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2000. There she studied with inspiring music educators, such as Buz Hoefer and Dr. Paul Vance. She has been teaching music and languages in the U.S. and abroad ever since. In 2005, she received a MM from UW-Milwaukee, where she studied cello with Stefan Kartman. Through her sons' violin teachers, Carol Waldvogel and Laurie Asch, she was inspired to learn more about the Suzuki method. She is currently working on a Doctorate of Educational Technology through the University of Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, Spain.
